| I now know why I am addicted to this forum. I am here because of the few great guys that make it amazing. A fellow member by the name of Bster called me today and expressed his concerned for my car's potential. He suggested I get the Border 60mm Intake Piping [ http://www.splparts.com/Z32/Turbo/Border60mmIntakePipe3.jpg ] He told me that the stock ones were a bottleneck for huge turbos like ours and it makes sense. All the high hp Z's in Japan have this upgrade so it doesn't sound too crazy. Thats the only few mod differences I have with BSTER and his car made way more power with less boost however are low end and mid range was the same. My high end was suffering so his theory about the bottleneck makes sense. I will have my friends shop make me some 60mm piping because I cant wait a month+ to get the ones from Kuah. I will also have them make the intercooler piping from 2" to 2.5" to increase the flow. Problem hopefully solved. Now for the other one. The wideband was showing I was running 12.0 A/F but could still see black smoke. I then remembered that cylinder #3 has a bit lower compression than the other one for some strange reason. Then it hit me, if a bad injector would be stuck open, it would wash down the rings on that cylinder and even cause my smoke problems. I am pretty sure that is the culprit. Second problem solved. I have some Border 850 cc injectors and will hopefully install them soon. I will then go to my friends shop on August 11th and have them redo the intercooler piping and the intake piping and give it another go on the dyno and hopefully find my lost hp. I would also like to thank Sparkie for convincing me the TD06 turbos are not useless on a Z32 since he is the man when it comes to turbos, George at Boost Solution for his help trying to find my missing hp (I will call you tomorrow) Greg Dupee, Primespeed, Ash and Kyle for answering my stupid questions.Zhoud (ZO) for having his tight ass setup and making amazing power. That just drives me even more to see the final result of an expen$ive setup and see how much more power I can make since I spent so much more $$$$$ :) lol I would also like to thank my fellow Canadians Zeus and Zengineer for their concern on my Z and the rest of you that emailed me.
